Mission

Carrboro United’s mission is to protect and stimulate the Carrboro economy during the COVID-19 pandemic through creative initiatives and partnerships with the local business community. The organization was spearheaded by Tom Raynor, former CEO of Fleet Feet Sports, Acme Food & Beverage Co. and a team of local leaders. Carrboro United launched March 21, 2020 with a Local Food Hub program that allows consumers to conveniently order and pick up food from local restaurants, purveyors and farmers three times a week.
